FAQ Where is the fuse on my plow?

A. We have a fuse holder in the underhood harness, it is located within 12” of the battery and should be connected directly to the positive post on the battery. The fuse holder has a flip open cap which houses a 10 AMP FUSE. Do NOT use anything larger than a 10 amp fuse, doing so can damage the controller if a short circuit happens. If the 10 amp fuses fails repeatedly there must be an issue within the harness (pinched or exposed wire) or a solenoid coil on the power unit has or is about to fail.

The controller receives its power from a keyed power source inside the truck cab. (Fuse panel) It also should be connected to a 10 amp protected power source.
